I began experimenting with different tags and titles, and while this led to some increase in views, it wasn't significant. To draw more attention, I even pinned the article to my profile to ensure visitors could easily find it.

The turning point came when I altered the title to "Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton's Romance — Cleopatra." The following day, I saw a remarkable surge in views. The graph displayed a noticeable spike, particularly on May 25, 2022. While the blue line represents External Views and the green line denotes Internal Views, it’s crucial to note that Medium compensates creators based on Internal Views only. Although I didn’t earn much, the increased traffic was satisfying, and surprisingly, a significant portion of the views originated from Google.

Perhaps one day, I’ll craft a title that not only attracts external readers but also boosts my Internal View count, resulting in greater earnings.
