Gradually, I found myself adopting a cynical view of life, filled with complaints, sarcasm, and negative thoughts.

I often caught myself muttering phrases like:

  • "What next?"

  • "What's wrong with me?"

Such negative self-talk kept me in a reactive state, making me feel like a victim of my surroundings. However, after breaking free from that cynical mindset, I embraced a vibrant (though not toxic) positivity. Think of me as a blend of Richard Simmons and Tony Robbins—just kidding! But for someone who has faced anxiety and depression, I realized I needed to cultivate a brighter perspective on life.

Here are some affirmations I now repeat to myself to silence the cynic and welcome joy into my life.
