Despite the temporary relief avoidance offers, the underlying issues remain unresolved. This coping strategy, while seemingly effective, often leads to a cycle of worsening problems.

Inaction can exacerbate issues rather than resolve them. For example, neglecting bills can lead to mounting interest and financial instability. Similarly, avoiding workplace stress may lead to increased absenteeism and diminished productivity.

Gathering resources and facing problems head-on, despite the inevitable stress and anxiety, is essential. Delaying action often worsens situations rather than alleviating them.
