It’s essential to foster open lines of communication across various departments to resolve customer issues effectively.
If your organization operates in a siloed environment, you may find it necessary to break down those barriers and establish collaborative channels between different teams.
Your daily tasks will shift from managing Jira tickets and refining Figma files to drafting confluence documents, detailing concepts and solutions, and researching competitor strategies. You’ll devote significant time to brainstorming new ideas rather than polishing existing designs. User interviews will become your primary focus, along with creating prototypes for user testing and recruiting participants.
As a senior designer, delegating tasks to junior team members will become part of your responsibilities. You won’t be solely accountable for pixel-perfect designs; instead, you’ll oversee the final output, ensuring it meets quality standards.
Once your mockups are transformed into functioning software, you’ll be expected to conduct validation tests to confirm your hypotheses. Collecting data to support your design decisions will be crucial. If the results fall short, you’ll need to re-evaluate your designs or make necessary adjustments.
