As the wedding date approaches, life becomes a whirlwind of excitement and blessings.
Blessing 1: Opportunities Abound
I've reached a point in my career where my success has drawn attention. Numerous companies are vying for my expertise, including competitors and manufacturers I had never encountered before. While it's flattering to be pursued, it can also be quite distracting as I prepare for the big day.
With the wedding only nine weeks away, Allison and her mother are diligently managing the details—everything from the venue to the cake. Meanwhile, I am focused on planning our honeymoon, seeking the perfect destination and activities.
Blessing 16: Support from Friends and Family
As we draw closer to the wedding—now just eight weeks away—Allison and I find ourselves together daily. In one of our recent discussions, we talked about honeymoon plans. I mentioned a friend from my time in Afghanistan, Carlo Chappman, who has offered us a 1940 Cadillac Series 75 Limousine for our getaway. I was touched by his generosity, and Allison was equally enthusiastic about it.
We then pondered how we would travel. Allison listed her dream destinations: Niagara Falls, London, Cancun, and Hawaii. I suggested Hawaii, thinking it would be an ideal choice for newlyweds, and she agreed. We decided to fly, and I promised to handle the bookings.
Blessing 17: Family Support
As the wedding day approaches—now only four weeks away—everything is finalized. I’m excited yet anxious as we prepare for this new chapter. Allison approached me with an idea to redecorate our home after our return from the honeymoon, expressing her passion for decorating. I wholeheartedly encouraged her, affirming that our partnership is already strong.
Blessing 18: A Passion for Creativity
With just two weeks left until the wedding, my focus has shifted to closing deals at work. However, as the big day draws closer, I find myself increasingly distracted by the excitement.
Blessing 19: Cherishing Old Friendships
The wedding day arrives, and I wake up early to find Carlo at my door, delivering the limousine keys. He reminded me to inform George, the chauffeur, of our schedule. It warms my heart to have such a supportive friend, and I hope to emulate his kindness in my own life.
On the wedding day, the ceremony takes place at St. Anthony's Church. As I await Allison's arrival, I feel a mix of anticipation and joy. The moment she walks down the aisle, I know all my worries have vanished; we were meant to be.

As we cut the cake and enjoy our first dance, I take a moment to appreciate how blessed I am to marry the woman of my dreams. With the future ahead of us, I feel immense gratitude for the love and friendships that have shaped this day.

As the night draws to a close, we prepare for our honeymoon, ready to embark on this new adventure together.
